When you visit our website, the browser automatically sends information to the server.

We use technically necessary cookies to ensure the website functions properly. No cookies are used for web analytics (see item 5).
5. Web analytics with Matomo
This website uses Matomo, an open-source software for the statistical analysis of visitor access. Matomo is operated exclusively on our own server; the data collected is not transferred to any third party. Processing is cookieless, meaning that no cookies are stored on your device. In particular, the following data is recorded:
- pages visited and time of access
- browser and operating system used
- device type and screen resolution
- origin of access (referrer URL)
- anonymised IP address
Before being stored, your IP address is truncated by two bytes and thus anonymised; it is therefore not possible to draw any conclusions about you as an individual. The raw data is automatically deleted after 180 days.
The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in the needs-based design and statistical analysis of our website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Embedded services: LinkedIn feed (Elfsight)
On our website we embed a LinkedIn feed via the service Elfsight (Elfsight LLC) that displays posts from our LinkedIn company page. When this content is loaded, a script from elfsightcdn.com is loaded and a connection may be established to Elfsight servers as well as to LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company / LinkedIn Corporation, USA). In doing so, data such as your IP address and browser and usage information may be transmitted to these providers – including to third countries such as the USA, where an adequate level of data protection under EU law cannot be guaranteed.
